Ava's Christmas Pictures!!!

Ava's 4 month appt

So Ava went to her 4 month Dr's appt yesterday. She weighs 15lbs 12ozs!!!! She also just got her first tooth on monday night!!!! It's so cute! She's just getting way way too big! The Dr says she's in the 90th percentile for her height. He says she's healthy and seems to be a well taken care of happy baby!! I'm so proud of her she's doing so well. She rolled over twice the other day and she's reaching out for me. What a big girl!

Ava is 17 weeks! She is getting so big!!!! Here are some pics of her at 4 months! Her 4 months stats are as follows...
-She is still in a size 1 diaper, she has such a tiny butt!
-She is now eating baby food. She hates anything green just like her daddy! She loves pears the most and sweet potatoes. I feed her fruit with cereal in the morning and a fuit/veggie at night.
-She weighs 14 lbs 6 ozs
-She is 25 inches long!
-She loves to talk, she jabbers all day long!
-She now has a little bit of a bald spot on her head from her play mat that Gage gave her. I was very sad about that!
-She still takes 6 ozs every 3-4 hours.
-She grabs at things and plays with her toys, she loves to put everything in her mouth!
-She is teeting but still no teeth yet. Her teething comes and goes. I will let you guys know when she gets her first tooth!
-She is diong so well, she stands for long periods of time. I hold her up of course but her little legs are sooooo strong. She hasn't rolled over yet but my mom says Ava seems like the baby who will go right to crawling and skipping the rolling over thing! I hope she's right! Her legs are definitly strong enough!

Tomorrow is Thanks giving and I'm going to my mothers house for dinner. I have had alot of family issues lately. Not with my immediate family, but family either way. I feel awful about some things that have happend and how some things are. My mom says that I can't change whats going on and I definitly can't change the path that some people take. I know that all I really can do is pray about it and pray for them. I have been very sad latley about some things and my heart seems to be breaking over things I cannot change. Just keep me and the family in your prayers. Even though they drive me nuts! My mother is absolutly right. I need to focus on my little family Wayne Ava and I!!!! I am so thankful for my mother. She gives me the best honest advice. She is always there for me like a gaurdian angel! I know without a doubt that she prays over me everyday and knowing that makes things a little easier. I can count on her no matter what! I am also thankful for my sister Ashley she is my best friend. I never thought we were ever really alike. People always said growing up that we looked like twins and we were so much alike. Well, we really weren't. we were COMPLETE opposites! However time has passed and we are more alike than ever before! I think we have grown to appreciate sisterhood. We have a awesome bond. We are both GREAT mothers and wives. We have more in common and more to chit chat about than we ever have before! Thank you Ashley for always being there for me and for being my best friend! I love you! I am also greatful for Wayne and Ava of course! My life has changed sooooo much in the past year! I am a born again christian and a mother! I love my little family of 3 more than life itself! My life is complete for the momment! Until I want #2!!!!

Ava's dedication November 2, 2008

Ava was dedication this past Sunday November 2nd, 2008!!! It got sooooo hot in the church we had to take Ava's first layer of her dress off because she was soooo misserable! I didn't get any pictures of her in her complete dress which makes me sad but my mother-in-law did so she is going to give me copies. I just don't have any to post :(

Ava again! She loves her football rattle her dad picked out for her! She waves her arms up and down to make the rattle sound and slobbers all over it!!!! Doesn't quite go with the dress but she's daddy's girl and she will probably love hunting, fishing, and football!

This week has been a BIG week for my big girl! She is 13 weeks now and on Saturday I fed her from a spoon for the first time! It was sooooo cute! She loved the texture. She was kicking and smiling. She waved her arms up and down sqweeking the whole time! I love it! Her daddy also put up the high chair for her! I love the high chair it matches her pack-n-play as well as her infant car seat and her convertable car seat! The high chair has nice straps and a pad around her head to help keep her head straight. My sister and mommy got it for Ava for her shower! Also, Gage brought his new bouncer to a church game night on Friday. He was a gentleman and let his favorite cousin sit in it and bounce for awhile! She had so much fun! Thanks Gage!

Here are some 3 month pictures of Ava. She is 12 weeks today! Wow how time fly's. The past 3 months have been the best of my life. Ava is talking now, holding her neck up by herself and smiling up a storm! She is truly a blessing from God. When I look at Ava I know God exists. I melt every time she smiles, or snuggles with me, or when she gently licks my skin. I know there is nothing better in the world than to be a mother and I will NEVER take it for granted. As long as I live I will thank God for her every day!!! Mommy loves you so much Ava Elizabeth VanNorman!

When Ava gets her hair wet it fro's out into a bunch of tight little curls! She doesn't even look like the same baby! She had just gotton out of the bath at the lake house!


I love her baby blues! That fro just makes me laugh!I wish they made baby hair products, I would put gel in her hair to make the curls stick! As soon as her hair is dry it straightens right out.

I LOVE these 2 pictures. Ava is so beautiful I thank God every day that he gave me such a beautiful gift! She looks so cute, those are her new tennis shoes mommy bought her! I looked forever for them!
